Last week in Dallas I also had the opportunity to do an AutoCAD 2005 Update presentation to Carter & Burgess, a prestigious AE firm. They are about to roll out AutoCAD 2005 to 100+ users in their Dallas office and are making the move from AutoCAD 2002 and AutoCAD 2000i. My goal was to catch them up as much as possible from 2000i in about two hours (we had a VERY busy two hours!). The group was fantastic – I think a good time was had by all (they even tried to eat their potato chips quietly so they didn’t miss anything). Their reseller – Construction Industry Solutions Corp. kindly drove me around for three days and made sure I was well taken care of (thank you Laura!). Here is a slightly fuzzy picture of the Autodesk and COIN clan and Bill – the gentleman from Carter & Burgess who arranged everything for us.
This week I’m taking Civil 3D training – stay tuned! So far it looks like a powerful Civil package with some revolutionizing capabilities – wish me luck!
