The Sydney Apple Store and AutoCAD for Mac

Ok...so I've been a little busy and I'm a little slow (very slow) in posting some of the pics from the Sydney Apple Store.  It was a great event (even though my voice was extremely hoarse) and very exciting.  A couple of years ago I remember walking by this amazing Apple store and being in awe of it's size (not to mention it was packed full of people).  This was just such a great opportunity for me personally - not to mention AutoCAD for Mac!  (Don't forget you can try AutoCAD for Mac for free!)

The wonderful Bree McKenzie, the Events Lead for the Sydney and Bondi Apple stores took these pictures and I thought I'd share.

No doubt I'm making some profound statement here...  :-)

The Apple Store loaded AutoCAD for Mac on all the stations for the attendees to try out after the presentation (very cool).

The wonderful Apple Employees along with Autodesk employee, Scott Gardiner (left side of the AutoCAD for Mac sign). Bree can be found on the far left and David (right above the sign) was my AutoCAD WS partner.Scott was my traveling companion throughout Australia and I can't thank him enough for taking such great care of me and arranging all those Launch events!  I'll travel with him anytime!

All in all it was a fantastic event with enthusiastic users (I really love the Mac users).  I'm hoping to hit a couple more Apple stores when I'm back in Australia next month.

 
 

 

 
 
 
 
 

Participate in an AutoCAD Survey on Comparing Drawings

Hey - you have opinions - right?  Well Autodesk wants to hear them!  The AutoCAD research team would like to learn as much as possible about the work you do when comparing drawings in order to improve future versions of AutoCAD. The survey should only take about 5-10 minutes to complete, and there will be a lottery for participants for a $30 Amazon giftcard (that would be nice to win now wouldn't it?)

The Autodesk 2012 Product Launch (Virtual)

The Autodesk University 2011 Call for Speakers has arrived!

If you've ever thought about presenting at Autodesk University - now is the time to act! The Call for Speakers has officially started for AU 2011 and we want to hear from you!   Do you have some technical expertise you want to share with others?  Perhaps a niche topic you're a pro at?  There's no harm in submitting a proposal and you might just get accepted!  Then you'll receive a free pass to AU (how great would that be?).
