I have been so entrenched with the AutoCAD 2011 Launch that I haven't had a chance to blog! Thankfully I know this has been covered extensively with the other bloggers (including the ones who joined us at the launch event last Thursday in San Francisco).
I'm getting ready to hit the road with a variety of launch events - not to mention finishing up my AutoCAD 2011 Tips and Tricks booklet (which I'll post on my blog as soon as it is finalized). I'm feeling like I need to give some of the lesser known AutoCAD 2011 features some airtime on my blog - just to make sure they get their fair share of attention.
MIRRHATCH:
AutoCAD 2011 has a new System Variable that controls whether or not hatches are mirrored when included in the selection set with the MIRROR command. The default follows legacy behavior and defauls to 0.
Setting MIRRHATCH to 1 will mirror te hatch pattern.
Default Scale List that is pervasive through all drawings
Finally we have contorl over the default Scale list - hoorah! Found in the OPTIONS dialog - this list saves the default list of scales found in the registry and will be used whenever the scale list is reset.
Well that is a couple of new features...more to follow!
