As I traveled around on the AutoCAD 2009 launch, I had several users tell me the FIND command, though updated, had also been broken. When using the FIND command to search for specific text - the FIND command refused to stay zoomed in (which in many cases was the main goal!). I'm happy to report that AutoCAD 2010 updated the FIND command and it looks like they got it right this time!
In addition to being able to remain zoomed in on the the found text, you can also easily create a selection set of all or part of the found text strings (a nice addition). This would then allow you to perform some type of editing operation on the selection set such as placing it on a different layer.
The three buttons to the right of the list results allow you to (from top to bottom) zoom in on a specific text string listed, add only highighted text strings to a selection set or add all of them to a selection set.
It's back to being chlly in Northern California (drats!) I almost thought we had made our way from winter to spring...not quite yet!
