About three years ago I wrote a post on changin the dreaded F1 key to something other than "help" for obvious reasons. Last year I recorded an updated version of the same concept...changing the F1 key to anything other than Help (preferably to Escape since that's what you were trying to hit anyway). By far I get more comments about this than anything else!
Here is the video on how to change the F1 key to Escape in AutoCAD 2006 or higher.

About a month ago a fellow blogger by the name of Anthony Rogers wrote me a very amusing email and pointed me to his blog on the same topic. I laughed out loud when I read his rant on the "evil F1 key" - but lets face it - he is absolutely right on! If you have ever wanted to rip the F1 key off the keyboard then you absolutely must read his posting - it's hysterical! Thank so much for sharing Anthony!

That's all I am going to write before I take off to enjoy this weekend. I hear there is snow in Tahoe today - it is MUCH too early for snow! Yikes!
Enjoy your weekend...
