Well...it isn't really work if you love what you do...now is it? I get to spend my hours immersed in AutoCAD, Inventor and other great Autodesk products - and I get to travel around and meet all of you wonderful users! Who can complain about that?
But I won't lie...the six weeks off was very much appreciated (possibly needed)...and I have good news - I finally got to that closet! I can actually see the floor now and I finally found the cat! (okay...just kidding...don't email me). I was very fortunate to spend the final week of my sabbatical in beautiful Kauai so I ended it all on a very relaxing note. I got to go hiking, kayaking, and play many days of tennis (my favorite!) so I was able to work off a few of those sabbatical pounds as well (come on - you saw that pie!). So now I am refreshed, regenerated and ready to tackle all things Autodesk once again!
And not too soon...my first day back finds me on a plane to London for the Augi Design Academy for two days of exciting classes. I'm doing another turn at my "75 AutoCAD Tips in 75 minutes" where I will race through at a tip a minute as well as showing off the new features in AutoCAD 2009. After that I hop over to Dublin for an exciting event with CADCO where we will talk about all kinds of things from AutoCAD to Revit and Inventor.
And of course - it is always great to hang out with my AUGI friends in the UK...so that will be good fun as well.
They are calling my flight! I am OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.
