Welcome to another week - I'm currently in New York City getting ready for another AUGI CAD Camp tomorrow as well as two events in Albany the following day for Imaginit. Let's start the week off with a kewl Hip Tip.
AutoCAD Detective Hip Tip to find out who's working on a specific drawing:
Ever try to open a drawing file only to find out someone else is already in it? Maybe you absolutely need to get into this drawing and consequently need to go find that person right away! What to do? Send an email? Stand up and shout? No, no, no...simply use the WHOHAS command.
At the command prompt enter WHOHAS and you'll be asked to select the drawing file in question from the Open dialog. After selecting the drawing file, the AutoCAD detective will return to you his findings as seen below.
Then you can go have a chat with the offender who wasn't psychic enough to realize you were going to need to use this drawing!
So there is your Hip Tip...here are some pics from my extra day in Dublin:
Below find a picture of the Dublin Castle grounds...notice how the walkways look like two snake heads (which I didn't realize until I was perusing the pictures). It's a little sad that the newer buildings in the background have practically overtaken the castle.
While in the Dublin Castle I found this sign quite interesting! (Don't you just love observing the different types of signs when you travel around?)...I love the "By Order" at the end...so appropriate for a castle.
No trip to Dublin is complete without a trip to the Guinness Factory! After completing the very interesting tour everyone is treated to a pint at the top in the Galaxy Bar...here's yours truly...
And last but not least - there was an astonishing rainbow that day...and what is more appropriate than a rainbow in Ireland? I spent all day searching for that pot of gold at the end of it...(which incidentally I didn't find...just more Guinness)
Ireland is a great place to visit, with it's beautiful green countrysides and the exceptionally friendly people I strongly recommend it! Erin Go Bragh!
