My writing partner (from my last book - AutoCAD Professional Tips and Techniques ) Scott Onstott is offering up two video workshops on AutoCAD you are welcome to watch free of charge! (thanks Scott!)
I think Scott's angle is very cool - in one workshop he tackles a real-world architectural project (starting with a scanned in pencil sketch). You will gain insight into his drawing strategies (Scott is a REAL pro incidentally) as he selects certain tools and has to solve real drawing problems that we run into all the time. Scott will also show you some very cool strategies that are sure to come in handy on your own projects.
The second workshop - Space Planning with Blocks in AutoCAD sounds just as informatiive as he takes you through the block creation and grouping process to lay out an office space efficiently. Scott also shares some other cool editing tips along the way.
So check them out! (and if you find yourself hooked...Scott has plenty of other classes available - although not necessarily free)
And my fellow blogger Edwin Prakoso at CAD Notes has some freebies up for grabs that are sure to increase your productivity.
At the CAD Notes blog you find some Autodesk Official Training Guides for AutoCAD available, a couple of training videos and some CAD Productivity applications.
How do you win these items? It's really very simple. Select the product(s) you want and tell then why you want it! What have you got to lose? I bet your chances of winning are much better than you realize (and I guarantee you - if you don't try - you won't get anything!)
And hurry! the contest ends the same time September does...
