I am finally home and back with my fluffy white dog (hoorah). Thankfully she still remembers me. Our hummingbird feeder has been mobbed by hummingbirds lately (clearly they've been telling all their friends about the free drinks!) and at one point our hummingbird feeder was fully populated with four hummingbirds on the feeder at the same time - all taking a drink (it looked like a soda fountain). Since they usually fight with each other and refuse to share - I was stunned to see them all playing nicely and cooperating. Of course - by the time I got to my camera it was too late - but if you look closely you can see three hummingbirds at the same time (also amazing if you ask me!).
Hidden Dialog Boxes Part Deux!
My last post explained how to get back those pesky disapearing dialog boxes. I had several users write to me and tell me that once you hit the arrow key the dialog box is on your cursor (you just can't see it) and you should be able to use your mouse to get it into view. A big thank you to all of you who took the time to send me emails on this - apparently this happens more often than I realized!
Speaking of Disappearing - how to get the AutoCAD pull-down menus back!
I received two emails last week from people who somehow lost their pull-down menus. In the past I wrote that you could do a right click on the Quick Access Toolbar and select "Show Menubar" to get it back (as seen below).
But what if you don't even have the Quick Access Toolbar? No problem...simply key in the MENUBAR command and you should be good to go! And one last place you can go to get your menubar back is in the big old CUI command as seen below.
These UI settings are saved per workspace so please keep that in mind.
I hope you all enjoy a fantastic weekend!
