It seems as though every day I come across a new feature in AutoCAD 2006 i haven't discovered yet...I recently downloaded Ralph Grabowski's What's Inside AutoCAD 2006 online book to see if he had any good nuggets I had missed and was delighted to find a few hidden treasures (thanks Ralph!). If you'd like a nice primer to get you up and running quickly on the new software - I highly recommend it.
So here are a couple of nuggets for the day:
1) If you insert images in to your AutoCAD drawings you'll be happy to know that there is a new setting for the system variable IMAGEFRAME. Now if you set IMAGEFRAME to 2, AutoCAD will display the frame but promises not to print it!
2) Do you turn line merge on when you plot? If so, I'm sure you noticed that the plot preview didn't clue you in that you had...well now your preview will display merged objects.
