Sorry for the "Blog Neglect"...but the launch of our 2006 products has definitely taken over and I am up and running! And to top that off - we lost an hour this week! How will I ever catch up? Tomorrow I hop on a flight to Charlotte, NC for another great CAD Camp...followed up by a visit to the Richmond Autodesk Manifest (user group). Then on to Washington DC for another installment of the Vision Tour with Autodesk VP Phil Bernstein...then back to Charlotte for another Vision Tour stop....I am worn out just thinking about it!!!
Last week was fantastic...I stopped off in Oklahoma City for an AutoCAD 2006 presentation at the Francis Tuttle Technology Center. My luggage was kindly lost by United so I looked very similar for two days...Linda Lancaster, ATC Manager and good friend, was kind enough to take me to a store so I could pick up some over night essentials. I took pics of the OKC event - but alas they turned out too dark so I apologize for not posting. Jon Hansen, retired Asst. Fire Chief for Oklahoma City also joined us for an enlightening presentation. My luggage found me before I caught my next flight to Dallas for CAD Camp.
Below are some pics of the Dallas CAD Camp event in the American Airlines Conference Center. Where else would you find the conference rooms labeled by gate! First pic is of some of the attendees trying to find room in their brains for yet one more Tip or Trick on Autodesk software (the day is so filled with info it can really wear you out!).
Speaking of worn out - This is a picture of Heidi Hewett, Technical Product Marketing Manager working with me on the new AutoCAD 2006 flip cards...she looks great but I'm beginning to wear out a tad.
That evening the audience received a tour of the new features in AutoCAD 2006 by Heidi. She is the one who taught me all about AutoCAD 2006 - so they had a real treat that evening! Heidi did a fabulous job (as always).
